1806 8th Street, NW has been on the market for 27 days. This single family townhouse has just had a nice (though fairly bland) renovation, and does feature both off-street parking in the rear (or a beautiful garden, if you have a jackhammer and a green thumb) and a location less than a block from the Shaw Metro station. Would you live in this house? Is it worth the money? Tell us in the comments.

Bedrooms: 3
Bathroom: 1.5

This room just doesn't look like it ought to be the
living room of a $500,000+ house. Cheap 85-cents-a-foot
baseboards, cheap looking hardware on the door, and
the killer - cheap fake wood floors...
Decent appliances, stainless & granite as expected...
but for just about $3,000 more, they could have put in
a Viking stove and a SubZero fridge and really made it
sparkle. Why be so cheap on something you're trying
to sell for so much more?

The lighting under the cabinet at the minibar
is a nice touch
The $30 fan from Home Depot and the cheap looking carpet
just doesn't scream "I'm in a half-million dollar house!" to me...
