Shaw Deserves Better (and is about to get it!) from These Abandoned Buildings - Naylor Court, NW
A few weeks ago, we profiled these abandoned garages in Naylor Court NW. As promised, here's a follow-up on what's going on at this site. This:
Yeah, and it gets better... Here's some more renderings of the plans. I don't know about you, but I wish I could afford one of these! These houses are gorgeous!
For those of you who don't know, historic Naylor Court is the collection of alleys bounded by O Street NW, N Street NW, 9th Street NW and 10th Street NW. It's a block away from the northern tip of the DC Convention Center, the new City Market at O project, and a quick three blocks to Metro.
These beauties will all feature 9' ceilings on each of three levels, private roofdecks, three full bedroom suites (4.5 bathrooms each), garage parking, additional storage in each carriage house, and iPod/iPhone docking stations with pre-wired in-ceiling speakers. Pricing hasn't been announced yet, but something tells me I can't afford one.
How much do you think they should each go for? Leave your answers in the comment section. We'll be following construction the whole way through - keep an eye on the site for photos!
